How it works

Three simple steps. No surprises. No one comes to your home until you say so.

1

Enter your address

Takes about 30 seconds. We use your address as the starting point for our in-house pricing formula.

2

Get your estimate

We send you a price estimate for your home right away. No fine print. No surprises. Just a real number to think about.

3

Book a visit — only if you want to

If the price feels right, a specialist visits, takes exact measurements, and gives you a firm written quote before you sign anything.

Ready for step one? It starts with your address.

No account. No credit card. You’ll see a real price before anyone calls you.

Before you call anyone

Most homeowners get sold the wrong type of gutter guard.

There are four completely different types on the market. They look the same in ads. Three of them fail within a few years. Only one actually works — and it’s the only one we offer.

Micro-mesh gutter guard installed over a standard gutter next to asphalt shingles
Actual product installed

The category you choose matters more than the brand.

A premium foam insert will still absorb water and break down. A cheap micro-mesh will still only let water through. The category is the decision — the brand is just execution.

Your specialist walks through the exact product, materials, and warranty details with you in person — so you can see and handle it before you decide.

The four types — side by side

Every company installs one of these. Here’s what each one actually does.

Type 1
Foam inserts
A sponge pushed into your gutter. Absorbs standing water, grows moss and mold inside, and breaks down in 2–4 years. You’ll pay to have it removed.
We don’t offer this
Type 2
Brush guards
Looks like a pipe cleaner. Seeds, needles, and shingle grit tangle in the bristles and decompose inside your gutter. Worse than nothing.
We don’t offer this
Type 3
Surface-tension hoods
Water clings around a curved hood — in theory. In a real Ontario downpour, water overshoots the gutter completely. Grit collects on top.
We don’t offer this
Type 4 — What we offer
Stainless micro-mesh
Fine-woven stainless screen over the gutter opening. Only water passes through. Leaves, needles, seeds, and shingle grit stay on top and blow off.
The only type that works long-term
Head-to-head comparison

How micro-mesh stacks up against every alternative.

The real cost of waiting

Clogged gutters are the #1 preventable cause of home water damage.

Most homeowners don’t find out until the repair bill arrives. Here’s what a decade of putting it off can actually cost.

$12K$68K+
Typical 10-year exposure · unprotected home
Most of this is preventable. The figures below come from Ontario contractor averages and typical insurance estimates. None of it is theoretical — this is the kind of bill homeowners see after one winter too many.

Foundation cracks & basement flooding

Overflow pools against the foundation. Freeze-thaw opens cracks, and water finds them every spring.

$8,000 – $25,000

Fascia & soffit rot

Standing water soaks into the wood behind the gutter. Usually a full replacement before the job is done.

$2,500 – $6,000

Ladder accidents

One in three ladder falls happens at home. Twenty-plus climbs over a decade is real risk — not theory.

$2,000 – $10,000+

Shingle lift & roof failure

Water backing up under shingles lifts them. Combined with freeze-thaw, it can shorten roof life by years.

A real estimate for your address in under a minute. No one calls you unless you ask.

Why homeowners choose us

The gutter-guard industry has a reputation. We built our whole process to be the opposite of it.

Most companies send a salesperson to sit at your kitchen table for 90 minutes with a binder, a “manager’s special,” and a clock. We send you a price first — before we ever knock on your door. Here’s exactly how that works.

You see a price before anyone visits

Enter your address and you’ll have an estimate before a single specialist comes by. You’re not negotiating blind at your kitchen table — you arrive knowing the ballpark, and the on-site quote confirms it in writing.

The quote on-site is the price on the invoice

The number a specialist gives you at your home is the number on your contract. No ‘today-only’ pricing. No surprise line items. If the price changes from the estimate, you’ll see exactly why — in writing — before you agree to anything.

Product warranty included

The product comes with a written warranty from the manufacturer. Your specialist walks through the coverage details with you so you know exactly what’s covered before you decide. You read it, ask questions, then decide. That’s the order.

We had three companies out. Two of them spent ninety minutes in our kitchen with a binder and an "if you sign tonight" offer. Canada Home Fix sent us a price the same afternoon. Quote was firm, job was on time, done by lunch.

I’m eighty-one and I hate being sold to. What I wanted was a number I could look at with my daughter. They emailed it. She said it looked fair. We booked two weeks later. No one pressured us at any point.

Our old guards were loose and letting everything through. We shopped around and got quoted significantly more elsewhere. These guys were competitive, used a better mesh, and let us actually see the product before anyone swung a ladder.

Honestly I was suspicious of the whole "we’ll send you a price without coming out" thing. Figured it was a bait number. It wasn’t — the specialist walked me through it over the phone, came out a week later, and the install price matched the quote to the dollar.

Two-storey Victorian with a lot of roof complications. I was sure they’d tack on a surprise charge — every other trade we’ve had out did. They stuck to the quote. The whole job was clean and done in half a day.

Quick version: fast email quote, no pressure, showed up when they said. The whole process from quote to finished job was about a week. Easiest home project I’ve ever done — and I didn’t have to do anything except say yes.

Common questions

What to ask before you hand over your address to anyone.

These are the questions every homeowner should ask every gutter-guard company — including us. Here are our answers.

01Will I get a phone call after I enter my address?
Only if you ask for one. You’ll see your price estimate immediately after entering your address. From there, the next step is your choice — book a visit when you’re ready, or close the tab. We don’t cold-call and we don’t hand your information to anyone else.
02What’s included in the free in-home visit?
A specialist comes to your home, takes exact measurements, inspects your fascia and downspouts for any hidden damage, and shows you the actual product in person. You’ll leave with a firm written quote and full product details — whether or not you decide to book the work. Most visits run about 45 minutes.
03How accurate is the online estimate?
Our online estimate is designed to put you in the right ballpark for an average-size home, so you’re not negotiating blind. The on-site visit is where the specialist takes exact measurements and confirms your price in writing — so if the real number moves up or down, you’ll see exactly why before you decide.
04Do I need to replace my gutters, or just add guards?
If your gutters are in sound condition, the guard system fits on top and your existing gutters stay in place. Most homes only need guards. Your specialist will tell you on-site if a full replacement is needed — and if it isn’t, they’ll say so.
05What areas do you serve?
Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Welland, Brantford, Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, and much of Halton. If your postal code is further out, enter it anyway — we’ll let you know right away if we can serve your area.
06How soon can someone come out?
Most in-home visits can be booked within a few days. Installation, weather permitting, usually follows within a week or two. In peak fall season (September to November), schedules fill up faster — so earlier is better.
07Will the specialist pressure me to sign on the day of the visit?
No. The visit ends with a written quote in your hand — full stop. There’s no ‘today-only’ price, no disappearing discount, no manager call. If you decide to book that day, great. If you want to think it over for a week, that’s also fine. The quote doesn’t expire and no one follows up unless you ask.
08What if something isn’t right after the install?
Call us. Your job is backed by a written product warranty from the manufacturer. If something needs attention, we coordinate the fix — you don’t have to chase anyone down. We stay involved until it’s resolved.
