Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Canada Home Fix is working to make canadahomefix.ca usable by as many people as possible, including people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom tools, high contrast settings, and mobile assistive technologies.
Our practical target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA for public Canada Home Fix pages. Some third-party experiences may have their own accessibility limitations, and we list the main ones below.
2. Measures We Take
- Provide a skip-to-main-content link on Canada Home Fix pages.
- Use semantic headings, labelled form controls, and descriptive link text where practical.
- Provide keyboard-accessible navigation, buttons, consent controls, and form workflows.
- Use descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and empty alt text for decorative images.
- Avoid flashing content and unnecessary motion.
- Review colour contrast and focus states as part of frontend changes.
3. Known Limitations
The estimate experience uses maps, satellite imagery, address autocomplete, image uploads, and third-party scheduling. These features are more complex than ordinary text pages and may not be perfect for every assistive technology setup.
If a map, upload, or scheduling control blocks you from using the site, contact us and we will provide a practical alternative such as phone or email intake.
4. Feedback and Barrier Reporting
Please tell us if you find an accessibility barrier on Canada Home Fix pages. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you used if you are comfortable sharing it.

5. Review Cycle
We review this statement and accessibility issues at least annually, and sooner when major Canada Home Fix features are added or changed.
