Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the website canadahomefix.ca and the online tools we provide, including our estimate tool, contact forms, and booking links (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms govern your use of the Site only. They are not a contract for installation services and do not create any service, payment, or warranty relationship between you and Canada Home Fix. Any installation work is provided under a separate agreement with an independent installation provider, as explained in Section 3.

Canada Home Fix is a Southern Ontario brand that helps homeowners get a gutter-guard estimate online and connects interested homeowners with a professional installation provider. Through the Site, we offer:

• Satellite-informed property estimates delivered online
• Tools to share your project details and request a follow-up or in-home visit

Canada Home Fix does not perform the installation, does not enter into the installation contract, and does not take payment from homeowners. Those steps are handled by an independent installation provider (see Section 3).

Online estimates generated through the Site are provided for general information only. They reflect our best assessment of likely project costs based on satellite imagery, available pricing data, and the information you provide. They are not quotes, offers, or binding commitments, and actual pricing may differ once a property is assessed in person.

If you decide to move forward, installation, final pricing, payment, scheduling, cancellation rights, and any workmanship or product warranty are arranged directly between you and an independent installation provider, under that provider’s own agreement and terms. That agreement — not these Terms — governs your installation, including any cancellation or cooling-off rights you may have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Canada Home Fix does not collect deposits or payments, does not set installation pricing, and does not provide the installation warranty. We encourage you to review the installation provider’s agreement carefully before signing.

Our online estimate tool uses a third-party data source for satellite imagery. This tool may not reflect actual site conditions, and an online estimate is not a substitute for an in-person assessment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canada Home Fix is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of an online estimate alone.

Photos and project details you upload through the Site remain yours. By uploading them, you grant Canada Home Fix a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them to generate your estimate and, in anonymised form, to improve the accuracy of our estimate tool. We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree that any information you submit is accurate, that it relates to a property you own or are authorised to act for, and that you have permission to upload any photos you provide.

All content on the Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and the estimate tool — is owned by or licensed to Canada Home Fix and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

You agree not to misuse the Site, estimate tool, forms, uploads, or booking links. Prohibited activities include:

• Submitting false, misleading, unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
• Uploading malware, harmful files, or photos you do not have permission to use
• Attempting to access, scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or disrupt our systems without authorisation
• Using automated tools to overload forms, APIs, booking links, or the estimate tool
• Impersonating another person or submitting someone else’s personal information without permission

We aim to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or up to date. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. Where we provide saved-estimate or booking access, we may suspend or end that access where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent misuse, or comply with law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canada Home Fix is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on an online estimate. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Ontario law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) are not affected.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion may be brought in the courts of Ontario. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your province of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
