Cookie Policy

1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Canada Home Fix uses cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies on canadahomefix.ca and related Canada Home Fix pages.
For this Ontario-focused funnel, analytics and advertising tools run after clear notice under implied consent, without requiring an accept click. You can turn optional categories off or back on at any time. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and aggregate funnel rollups for cookieless page-view measurement.

3. Specific Tools We Use
- Canada Home Fix notice and preference storage: local storage keys that remember your visitor ID, notice state, and cookie choices.
- Vercel Web Analytics: cookieless aggregate page-view measurement used to understand route and domain-level site usage.
- Aggregate funnel access rollups: cookieless counts of public funnel page views by hour, normalized path, referrer domain, and campaign parameters. These rollups do not store visitor IDs, IP addresses, user agents, exact quote IDs, or Meta click IDs.
- Google Analytics: used after notice for page-view and funnel performance measurement unless you turn analytics tools off. Google may set cookies such as
_gaor related analytics cookies. - Meta Pixel and Conversions API: used after notice for ad measurement, conversion tracking, retargeting, and similar audiences unless you turn marketing tools off. Meta may set cookies such as
_fbp,_fbc, or related Meta cookies. Server-side lead conversion events may include hashed contact details and technical request data for matching. - Google Maps Platform: used for address lookup, maps, satellite imagery, and measurement features. Google may receive address or map interaction data when these features are used.
- Cal.com: used only if you choose to schedule a visit through the embedded booking flow. Cal.com may use cookies or similar storage needed for scheduling.
We do not currently use Hotjar, TikTok Pixel, or other advertising pixels on Canada Home Fix pages unless they are later added and disclosed here.
4. How to Change or Withdraw Consent
On your first visit, a privacy notice explains that analytics and advertising tools run by default for this Ontario-focused funnel. The notice does not require an accept click. Use Cookie Settings in the notice, the button below, or the footer Cookie Preferences link to turn optional categories off or back on.
You can update your preferences at any time using the button below or the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
5. Consent Records and Retention
When the notice is shown or you change a cookie choice, we record the action, timestamp, policy version, visitor ID, user agent, and a hashed IP value. We keep these records for at least 3 years so we can demonstrate notice and preference history and respect withdrawal requests.
